ASSESSORS MEETING MINUTES

MAY 27, 2010

7:15P.M.          Called meeting to order. Present: Paula B. Keefe, Richard B.

                        Gorden, Ellen W. Abelson and Mark J.Mazur.

1.   Paula B. Keefe was unanimously elected Chairman of the Board of

      Assessors.

2.   The Board signed a Schedule of Uncollectible Excises that were identified

      by the Collector’s Office.

3.   The Board granted a Clause 41A deferral to the owner of Parcel# 094077000.

4.   The Board signed a Tax Deferral and Recovery Agreement and a Statement

      of Entry into Tax Deferral and Recovery Agreement for the owner of Parcel

      # 094077000, in connection with the new Clause 41A deferral.

5.   The Board signed a Notification of Acceptance of an additional exemption of

      100% for Fiscal Year 2011.

6.   The Board reviewed a letter from an attorney representing the owner of Parcel

      # 076001001, indicating that they were withdrawing their FY 2010

      application for abatement.           

7.   The Board discussed and then authorized the issuance of a Request for

      Proposals for a Data Re-Inspection Program.

8.   The Board took the following actions on the following FY 2010 abatement

      applications:

                        Parcel # 76-11             Deem Denied

                        Parcel # 130-31           Deem Denied

9.   The Board discussed, but did not act on several other FY 2010 abatement

      applications.

 10.   The Board discussed plans for a meeting with the Islamic Center of New

      England which is scheduled for 6/3/2010 at 7:20P.M.

11.  The Board agreed to meet with the representative of an individual who was

      denied an exemption and wanted to discuss the matter with the Board.

      That meeting will be held on Thursday, June 10^th, 2010, during a Board

      meeting scheduled for that night.
